This delightful cottage is nestled in a quiet lane only 0.5 miles from Braunton village centre and its excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Beautifully presented throughout, there is a lovely mix of character features and modern furnishings. Let the light flood in the skylights upstairs and downstairs, whilst you relax in the suntrap patio or stock the wood burner ready for later in the evening.

Oak beams, pine latch doors and slate floors are complemented by comfortable leather sofas and an attractive modern fitted kitchen. A wood burner makes the living room welcoming and cosy, and you will soon feel at home either here or in the separate dining room which is perfect for leisurely meals. A convenient cloakroom completes the ground floor accommodation. Two fabulous bedrooms are on the first floor, oozing character and charm, with oak beams, sloping ceilings and whitewashed walls, together with a family bathroom. To the front of the cottage, directly off the lane, there is parking for one car, a real benefit in this popular village. The rear garden with its lawn and suntrap patio is accessed by a few steps down from the stable door off the kitchen.

This cottage is an ideal choice for couples or families, being within a short drive of the glorious sandy beaches of Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe (all within 5.5 miles) and for walkers, the Tarka Trail, Braunton Burrows and miles of stunning coastal paths are nearby. Head north to Ilfracombe (7 miles) for the theatre, an aquarium, a pretty harbour and plenty of places to eat and drink. Just 6 miles south is Barnstaple, the main town in North Devon. Here, you can head to the cinema, bounce on trampolines at Air Extreme, play ten-pin bowling or shop to your heart’s content along the high street.
