Property code: OC-SSCAPE

Sleeping four people over two bedrooms, this wonderful semi-detached home in the picturesque village of Croyde provides the perfect escape for small families or groups of friends who want to discover the beautiful North Devon coast together. Enjoy a day of sun and sand on the beautiful stretch of beach that sits less than half a mile away from the cottage. Treat yourself to a picnic lunch or spend an exhilarating afternoon surfing the waves. In the evening, come home to the cottage to enjoy a fun BBQ dinner with your loved ones in the garden.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by the warm and welcoming open-plan living area. Slip into a comfy seat and make yourself at home before heading through the archway into the stylish kitchen. Rustle up something tasty for your loved ones and enjoy it in the chic dining area, which is bathed in natural light from the glass door. If you prefer to dine alfresco, make your way out into the patio area in the pretty garden for dinner. Afterwards, pour yourself a glass of Champagne and wait for the stars to come out, or head to the living area to play a board game. At night, climb up the stairs, and you’ll find two beautifully-styled bedrooms to choose from.

Grab your surfboard and spend a blissful day riding the waves at Croyde Beach (0.5 miles). If you’re a beginner, you can book a lesson and rent gear. Alternatively, pull on your hiking books and follow the well-marked coastal path that winds along the cliffs to Baggy Point (2 miles). Enjoy the far-reaching views to Lundy Island and keep your eyes peeled for gulls and cormorants.

The location of SeaScape is ideal. Couple of minute walk into the village, and about 5-7 minutes to the beach. Its a tidy little house with a decent bathroom and kitchen. More than adequate for the 3 of us for a week. Wed happily return.

the house was in just the right place - not too far from the town but far enough to be quiet. i would have liked a downstairs toilet but otherwise it was perfect. i would book again but if there was another house on the same estate with a downstairs toilet i would book that
