This charming two-bedroom holiday cottage is the perfect base for families looking to explore the glorious North Devon coast and countryside. With accommodation for up to five people (maximum four adults), it's ideal for a relaxing getaway. The golden, sandy beach at Instow is only 200 metres away, and you can even watch the waves from the comfort of the cottage with its glorious sea views.

The main lounge features a cosy electric fire, opening up into an open-plan kitchen/dining room with a farmhouse-style table, perfect for family gatherings. For additional living space, a second lounge provides armchairs, a TV and a sofa bed, enabling it to double as a third bedroom. Upstairs, the two bedrooms - a double, and a twin which can be made up as a double - and a bathroom are accessed using a wood and wrought-iron staircase, leading from the main open-plan living area. The front of the house has open lawns, while the sea-view rear garden is fully enclosed with a lawn, an area of patio, and a bistro dining set for six – ideal for al fresco dining.

Just metres away, take advantage of the scenic and car-free Tarka Trail, with level pathways leading to Bideford (3.5 miles) and Barnstaple (20 miles). For more adventurous hikers, the South West Coast Path is just 4 miles away. Surfing enthusiasts will be delighted by the waves of Westward Ho! (3.5 miles away), while golden sands await at Saunton and Croyde (15 miles). And the soft, golden sands of Instow Beach are only 200 metres away!

Thankyou for a lovely break. The cottage was very well equipped, clean, warm and well situated. The owner was extremely helpful with travel advice etc and checked in to make sure everything was okay. Would definitely book again.

This was our second visit to Dune View and we will probably book it again as we love its proximity to a beautiful beach and several good pubs.

This is an ideal property if you have dogs as it has an enclosed garden, also close to the beach and amenities. We have stayed twice now and have booked again for next year, cannot fault this property, it has everything we need .

We have just had a wonderful weeks holiday at Dune View. We found it to be a very well equipped cottage with the garden wonderfully secure for a dog with a very good standard of garden furniture. The owner was very informative and told us everything we needed to know. We have stayed a few times in Instow at various properties but this one was by faRead morer the best. We have booked this property for the last 4 years and still love it. The location is excellent. It is very clean and well equipped. The garden space is perfect for the dogs. Well definitely be booking again!
