Make your getaway to the stunning North Devon coast with this spacious and well-furnished holiday apartment. Sleeping up to four guests, this is the perfect location for families or groups of friends. It is situated in a beautiful detached house and boasts spectacular views of the sea and distant headlands. By day, enjoy a wealth of scenic coastal walks from the doorstep and by night, cosy up in stylish interiors and watch the sunlight fade over the waves.

Occupying the middle floor of the main building, the apartment is accessed via a short flight of external steps. Head through the large, private porch with ample storage space and enter the light-filled lounge, elegantly furnished and boasting a large window overlooking Woolacombe Bay. The kitchen/dining room offers views of rolling hills and is well-equipped for self-catering stays. When night falls, there are two comfortable bedrooms: one king-size with sea views, and one twin with zip-and-link beds that can be converted to a super-king-size upon request. The bathroom is complete with a shower over the bath. Enjoy al fresco dining on the patio with seating, where guests can take in the stunning countryside and coastal views, and watch the sun go down.

A short 300-metre stroll away, the picturesque clifftop village of Mortehoe provides shops, traditional pubs and cafes, as well as a small museum in a listed barn. Take a walk to Combesgate Beach to find a wide expanse of sandy and rocky shores and rock pools, ideal for children. Woolacombe Bay, a mere 1.5 miles away, offers 3 miles of golden sand and is renowned for its great surfing opportunities. Follow the Mortehoe circular walk for 5 miles to discover dramatic cliffs, secluded beaches and a chance to spot grey seals in the Atlantic.

This was our third stay in Coombesgate Apartment and as usual it was very comfortable but what we like about it most of all is it's superb views and wonderful location.

2 complaints one they was a draw missing in the twin bedroom an the outside really needs a Gardner to get rid of stinging nettles an brambles I had to cut lots off just to get up the steps to the cottage
