A local inn is within 300 yards of the property and the seaside resort of Westward Ho! with its shops, cafes and sandy beach is just 1 mile away. This part of the county has been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are many wonderful walks including the long-distance South West Coast Path which passes nearby on which you can explore miles of Devon coastline by foot or bicycle. A public footpath across surrounding farmland leads to Abbotsham Cliffs which make for a wonderful walk and spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean. The pretty fishing village of Appledore with its narrow winding lanes and historic quayside is less than XX miles away, and there is a golf club and excellent outdoor activities centre within a short drive. The port town of Bideford is 3 miles away where visitors can stock up on holiday necessities. From April 2024 this property can only accommodate.
