Sea views really do not get much better than from this fabulously modern ground-floor apartment set just a few hundred metres from Woolacombe’s esplanade and its glorious 3-mile stretch of golden sands. After days on the sand, return home to the dual-aspect living area or spend balmy evenings on the decked balcony.

Around 22 external steps lead up to the apartment where you’ll find a stylish open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining room with comfortable leather sofas where you can kick back and enjoy a movie on the TV/DVD. There are doors out to the balcony from the living area as well as adjacent doors from the kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for memorable meals and there is plenty of room to sit out on the terrace and take in the stunning views while enjoying an al fresco meal or simply relaxing with a book or the morning paper. The two attractive bedrooms are set off a hallway to the rear. The master double has an en-suite shower room and sea views that can be appreciated from the comfort of your bed – what a wonderful way to start the day! The twin room has a window with obscure glass for privacy and is served by a pristine modern bathroom. To the rear of the apartment is a shared drying area for wet suits.

With a wonderful selection of shops pubs and restaurants, Woolacombe is a popular choice for couples and families. The award-winning Blue Flag beach is ideal for surfers and the small coves dotted along the esplanade are great for those looking for a more peaceful setting. With miles of National Trust countryside on the doorstep, including the fabulous coastal path, this coastal retreat is also an ideal choice for walkers at any time of year. Heading further afield, the market town of Barnstaple is under 10 miles away, where you can browse the shops, use the leisure centre or eat at a number of lovely eateries. Slightly closer is Braunton (4 miles), where you can visit the Museum of British Surfing.

Lovely views. Comfy bed and sofas. Amazing balcony with comfortable chairs. Well equipped apartment. Lovely touch of welcoming tea, coffee and biscuits.

The property was perfect. Beds were comfortable and everywhere was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. Great that there was an allocated parking space. To top it all the view from the living room was amazing.
