Ideally located to make the most of one of the UK's best beaches (Woolacombe), this lovely property has been designed to create a luxury holiday home that’s lovingly furnished, tastefully decorated and equipped for comfort and enjoyment. It is less than 500 metres from the cottage to the centre of the village where there’s a great selection of individual shops, family-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants. The 3-mile stretch of golden sand is renowned for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities, with lifeguards on hand during the summer.

Beautifully presented throughout, the holiday home is spacious and modern. Whether it is coffee and croissants before a short stroll down to the ocean or preparing a small banquet for a special occasion, those wanting to indulge their culinary credentials will love the well-equipped and sociable kitchen and dining space. In the living room, large picture windows make the most of the bay views, and French doors open out onto the patio and the enclosed garden, ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying balmy evenings. The lounge provides comfortable sofas and a wood burner for those cooler evenings and the house benefits from underfloor heating throughout. Guests will appreciate the post-beach facilities on offer including an outside shower and handy utility room next to the stylish downstairs wet room. The separate games room accessed from the patio is another highlight. This spacious room boasts a 3-in-1 sports table offering you the choice of pool, table tennis or air hockey, this together with a dart board, sofa and smart TV. Upstairs, three attractive bedrooms are arranged including a master super-king room with sea views and an en-suite bathroom with spa bath. The second bedroom is a double with an en-suite shower room. The last bedroom is a twin with sea views and an en-suite shower room. To offer greater flexibility, both the first and last bedrooms offer zip-and-link options. All bedrooms come complete with their own TV. Also upstairs, accessed from the landing, is a large south-facing balcony where guests can enjoy the stunning sea views.

If you can drag yourself away from this wonderful property, you’ll be expertly located only a short stroll from the sandy beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. Also, you’ll be situated in the heart of the North Devon World Surfing Reserve, meaning getting into the water is a must. This reserve is made up of the beaches of Croyde (5 miles), Saunton (7.5 miles), Woolacombe, and Lynmouth (21 miles). If you don’t fancy donning your wetsuit and getting into the water, these destinations are great for a coastal walk or a mooch around some shops. Speaking of shopping, the pretty village of Braunton and the market town of Barnstaple are only 7 miles and 14.5 miles away respectively.

Beach House is well located, only a short walk down to Woolacombe and the beach. The property is furnished and kitted out to a high specification, the beds in particular are comfortable. Only missing a soft broom and oven gloves. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Dishwasher- the Filter and spray arms were filthy and needed cleaning. Had to do the first initial was 3 times, what was in there still wasnt clean, so for the reat of the holiday we washed everything by hand- it needs a deep clean The remote control in the second bedroom didnt work- couldnt change batteries as a screw has been added onto the backRead more of the device. Glass board in the kitchen is missing a foot on the back, so rocks when trying to use it Only other cutting board was a wooden board, more boards would be useful i.e for meat The recycle bins are very small so get full quickly but then only provided with 3 more bin bag, not enough for a family of 6 to use in a week. BBQ grill was very dirty- we brought a new BBQ so that we could enjoy the garden in the sun. Parosol didnt fit into the base weight so had to be balance on the patio at an angle (not very secure in the wind) also it doesnt lock into place so the parasol falls down freqently. Only 1 roll per toilet provided Welcome pack- very basic and not what you would expect from a 'luxury' house Light outside gamesroom worked intermittently- flickers on and off and not very safe with 5 steps to get to it. The drawers ans inside rim of the Washing Machine is mouldy- needs a deep clean. Hide
