Description

Sand Dunes is quietly situated, with no passing traffic, yet within earshot of the crashing waves and a very short walk of the shops, bars and quality restaurants.  This first floor apartment with wide stair access and handrail, is just a 500 yards level walk from the award winning surfing beach and there are miles of coastal and country footpaths to explore in this wonderful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The apartment has been completed to a high specification and offers a quality interior, thoughtfully laid out and equipped throughout. Accommodation is light and airy, and has a modern, contemporary finish and includes under floor central heating with individual thermostats in each room to provide warmth throughout the changing seasons. With two good sized bedrooms and extra flexible sleeping arrangements the apartment is ideal for families and friends to share.  A shared patio and garden areas with barbecue are available for quiet relaxation and to enjoy alfresco dining. With surfing tuition and equipment hire available locally there is no reason not to enjoy one of the main attractions that is on offer. In addition, the picturesque hilltop village of Mortehoe, with its breathtaking National Trust clifftop footpaths is also less than two miles beyond the smaller sand and shingle cove beaches of Grunta and Barricane. Horse-riding and rock climbing are also popular activities in and around the sands, and the glorious undulating countryside and dramatic coastline of Exmoor is also within a very scenic 10 mile drive.

Accommodation: Shared entrance with wide staircase and hand rail to First Floor: Living/dining room with rugs on oak-effect laminate flooring, leather suite,  wall mounted Smart TV(offering catchup TV, and Netflix and amazon prime using own account) and double bed settee(for alternative sleeping. Fitted kitchen with maple units, incorporating appliances including electric oven, separate electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, freezer and washing machine. Bedroom 1 with Delux King Divan and TV. Bedroom 2 with Twin and TV. Wetroom with power shower in gated enclosure, WC and basin.

Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Under floor CH. WiFi Broadband. No smoking. 2 pets welcome. Travel cot. Shower stool and highchair available on request.  Additional Z-bed available for alternative sleeping. Selection of books and games provided. Barbecue area. Individual outdoor secure lockers for surf boards, wet suits, bicycles. Outdoor hot shower. Industrial coin operated tumble dryer. Private off road parking for 1 or 2 cars. No short breaks. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
