Bowden in the South Hams is a haven for walkers, runners and cyclists with a plethora of routes accessible from the village. Dartmouth is just 5 miles away and offers diverse food shops, restaurants, a pretty harbour and scenic riverside walks. If the weather’s pleasant, go out on a boat trip and see the coast from a different perspective. The town has plenty of attractions including Dartmouth Castle and Dartmouth Museum, or if you fancy travelling a little further afield, Woodlands Theme Park (4.5 miles) and Paignton Zoo (8.5 miles) are extremely accessible.
