Welcome to this spacious barn conversation in the delightful village of Slapton which has the most beautiful outside space for guests to roam and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the great outdoors, Sleeping eight guests, it’s the ideal retreat for a family getaway or celebration in a great location.

The ground floor of the property features good-sized and comfortable rooms with plenty of space for everyone. Filled with sunlight and some traditional features such as exposed beams and farmhouse-style furniture, make for a very welcoming space. The open-plan kitchen/diner has plenty of room for entertaining and is well equipped for making snacks or feasts! The lounge is large with lots of comfortable seating for, well, lounging. Upstairs, guests will find four bedrooms to choose from – a king, double, twin and bunk room - with the king and the double each having an en-suite. There’s also a family bathroom so there’s no need to queue in the morning! Outside, there’s a lovely garden and an area with chickens and a duck pond which is fed by a spring. If the wildlife isn't enough to keep the children entertained, the climbing frame is sure to be a hit! The garden is perfect for family barbecues with a dedicated seating area for relaxing and sharing a glass or two and the views are pretty good too! There is even a gravelled area with a wooden bench beneath the trees, surrounded by various flowers.

The village of Slapton is a lovely place to spend a holiday. Why not head to the sandy shores of Blackpool Sands which is the ideal family beach with its clear waters and sheltered by greenery where you can swim and sail or bask in the sunshine, plus there’s the added bonus of a takeaway café and seasonal beach shop and water sports hire. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring Slapton Ley Nature Reserve (2.5 miles) a shallow lake, surrounded by marshy reed beds, dry grasslands and woodland. It is the perfect place to spot some of South Devon’s rare wildlife and indulge in activities such as canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and bird watching. A little further afield are towns of Dartmouth (8 miles) and Kingsbridge (6.5 miles) both of which have plenty of shops and places to eat as well as the 11th-century Dartmouth Castle or Kingsbridge’s historic harbour.
