Description

Set in the pretty village of Lake having a rural setting yet just a mile from the historic town of Barnstaple, this lovely barn conversion is a perfect retreat for couples. Great as a base for water sports or walking holidays, as a choice of fabulous North Devon beaches are within a thirty minute drive and country walks can be enjoyed almost from the doorstep. Detached from the owner's own home and with its own driveway, guests can dine al fresco on the private patio and also enjoy the shared lawn and gardens. The owner occasionally uses an adjacent office. Spacious and welcoming inside featuring light oak beams, wooden flooring and contemporary furnishings,with a comfortable living/dining room. The modern kitchen is well equipped to prepare a romantic meal and the stylish bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. With a wonderful riverside setting, Barnstaple has a theatre, cinema, huge range of restaurants, shops and the famous Pannier Market. There is much to do close by and yet within minutes you can be in the peaceful and beautiful Devonshire countryside.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Hall. Living/dining room with electric woodburning stove effect fire, TV with Freesat, DVD and CD player. Kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, freezer and washing machine. Bedroom with Double. Ensuite wet room (new for 2018) with shower, WC and basin.
