Description

Renown for its thriving fishing industry, Brixham is a hive of activity with it's many trawler boats unloading their catch of the day. Many of this seafood lands in the many specialist restaurants offering delicious cuisine throughout the year and attracting many visitors to sample. Brixham has a fascinating mix of maritime history, museums and quaint cobbled streets adorned with souvenirs and local crafts. As you approach the harbour area, it is hard not to miss the replica sized Golden Hind that was used by Sir Francis Drake and annually the area comes alive with pirates for the popular Pirate Fest. Explore further afield and you have the whole of the Riviera at your feet, including some of the finest array of beaches, a mix of pebble, shingle and sand. Paignton and Torquay are only a bus ride away and are full of attractions for all to enjoy.

Back at base, Ocean View studio apartment is neat space for two people (there is a double sofa bed for extra guests if required), with a bedroom/living room,  fully equipped kitchen with dining table and bathroom with shower cubicle. There is a generous sized outside terrace area with table and seating and views over The Quay and out to sea. Within 600 feet, you can walk into the heart of Brixham town centre and enjoy the buzzing atmosphere the can be felt in abundance. 

If you’re looking for a retreat, this one ticks all the boxes - just arrive, unpack, kick off your shoes and relax.

Accommodation: (Up a spiral staircase to outside terrace) one storey- bedroom/living room with double bed, sofa bed, chest of drawers, TV. Open plan kitchen dining with  fridge freezer, a 4 ring electric hob, electric oven, dishwasher, kettle and a microwave. Dining table, TV, CD player. No Wifi

Facilities: Bed linen and towels provided, sorry no wifi, Arr. Dep. for bookings is Saturdays, Short breaks available. Permit for stay not included in the cost. 0.2 mile to the nearest pub.This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £150, which is payable to Marsdens Devon Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Additional: Please notify us on booking if you require the double sofa bed to also be made up for an additional two guests (located in main living/bedroom)
