Chic, stylish and with amazing views over the beach, this luxurious holiday home ticks all the boxes. A fusion of seaside nostalgia with contemporary living - the perfect romantic retreat.

The open plan living is packed with coastal charm and nautical touches. White boarded walls with porthole mirrors and splashes of blue and red. The galley style kitchen comes complete with all modern appliances under a granite worktop. The comfortable sofa is a great place to kick off your flip flops and just chill. This lovely bright room also has a breakfast table and wall mounted TV with Freeview and WiFi access. ‘Upstairs’ there’s a sleeping area on the mezzanine with a king size futon with hypoallergenic bedding accessed via a sliding ladder. Downstairs the natural stone tiled shower room has a power shower, WC and wash hand basin. This delightful and stylish holiday home is perfect at any time of year with underfloor heating  for the cooler months and sliding doors.

The property has the benefit of private off street parking space to front and to the back,  a private sea facing terrace for a little alfresco dining. Beach access couldn’t be easier, a ladder extends from the terrace onto the beach so you can feel the sand between your toes in no time!

Shaldon is a delightful seaside village with some excellent independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants so you’re not short of anywhere to go for a coffee or dinner.

Shaldon lies across the river from Teignmouth, at the mouth of the river Teign, hop on one of the ferries and explore further afield. Shaldon is great for walking too with the South West Coastal Path right on the doorstep. Follow one of the nature trails and do a spot of birdwatching on the river, alternative try your hand at one of the many water sports on offer. Golfing enthusiasts will love the 18 hole and the charming conservation zoo just outside the town is a must for all the family. Of course, everyone comes to Devon for the coastline and the beaches never disappoint… stay at Shaldon Beach Hut and you couldn't get any closer!

The village is also extremely accessible by car from the perfectly located mainline Train Station at Newton Abbot as well as from the vibrant nearby seaside resort of Torquay, Exeter Airport and the M5, which are all within a 20-30 minute drive.

Reviews

This property was booked as a Christmas gift for my partner and myself by my mum. We couldn't have been happier with it. The beach hut was in the best location, the view was perfect and the hut had everything we could have needed. It was close by to so many yummy places to eat and drink, lots of lovely walks and easy access for exploring further afield. Beach Hut no 5 was perfect for us. We had 3 days of calm away from a hectic life and it couldn't have been better. The location is ideal, we were very close to lots of lovely eateries and the Hut is only a few steps away from the ferry boat over to Teignmouth.

Ms PAM SEYMOUR,

Hi Wills,

This is our 'go to' holiday for me and my son - we absolutely love it in these beach huts. Always a wonderful stay whatever the weather X

Mrs Jo Mills,

The beach hut is lovely and to say it’s quite compact, they have thought of everything. An excellent quirky holiday stay. This is a small but perfectly formed holiday accommodation. Everything has been thought of, quality fittings and just the most perfect location. Lovely place to stay for a few days in a perfect location.

Cannot fault anything about dealing with your company or the property.

Miss B Houckham,

Beautiful Beach Hut in a fantastic location. Parked the car and didn’t get back in it until we left to come home as everything we needed was nearby. We booked this for a few chilled out days and that’s exactly what we had. Clean and very well kit out, everything we needed was provided in the hut. We will definitely be returning

Mrs Diane Laughlin,

Mrs Bridget Upton,

Just perfect in every way......loved the property, the location, and the village. The property is always of a very high standard, there are also little touches, like milk, tea, coffee and sugar supplied. The view is fantastic to wake up to every morning and to go to bed every evening. The village and all the pubs ( food always lovely) and shops are all very friendly and happy to help.

Ms Emily Sherwood,

Perfect place to spend our first few nights as a married couple (and thank you so much for the prosecco) . Love the cosy feel, especially up on the mezzanine, and the sound of the waves during the quiet moments. It was amazing to come after the madness of our wedding day and to see the estuary lit up at night - we don't want to leave. Beautiful place to stay for a few nights, so good to be so close to the beach. That you for a wonderful venue

Mr & Mrs Sherwood,

Delightful beach hut!

Mr David Podmore,

Definitely somewhere we will visit again. A lovely beach front location in a very pleasant village with good amenities.

Mr Robert Willars,

We had a wonderful time. The highlight was enjoying breakfast on the stunning terrace which had been delivered by the cafe next door!
