This river leads down into the Tamar Valley (13 miles) and onto the Dartmoor National Park (10 miles), inviting endless walks and nature trails amongst its Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty splendour. In the opposite direction, the beautiful beaches of the Hartland Heritage Coast are just a drive away (28 miles), including the secluded Peppercombe Beach (29 miles) which is a haven for wildlife and a nature lover’s paradise.
