Branscombe is home to the oldest church in Devon, which dates back to the 10th century. The village itself has a couple of pubs and a pebble beach. Head to picturesque Beer (2.5 miles) and visit its sheltered beach or the Beer Quarry Caves. Seaton is 3 miles from the property with a wide range of restaurants, shops, and a superb beach which is great for kayaking or canoeing. Go wildlife and bird spotting at Seaton Wetlands or head into the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (3.5 miles) for a plethora of walks and cycle routes. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in the area too, including the fantastic Crealy Theme Park and Resort (15 miles) or the animal park, Wildwood Escot (12.5 miles).
