Lovely property, and layout was perfect for our needs. Plenty of living space on ground floor, 2 good sized bedrooms & bathroom on the 1st floor, and an en suite bedroom on the lower ground floor - ideal for someone who wants their own private space. The views over the river from the living room, main bedroom and balcony are wonderful. Short walk iRead morento the village where there are a number of good pubs/restaurants. Good walk to Westward Ho! via Northam Burrows. Big parking space. Hide

Hartland House is well configured, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The view over the Quay is lovely. Allocated parking with private access is a short walk from the house and a real bonus. The garden is secure. A short walk to the village of Appledore, through quaint little streets, (easily negotiated with our two dogs as there was virtually nRead moreo traffic on the narrow bits of road) gives access to pubs, fish and chip shop, grocery and take away shops and lovely walks. A lovely, clean cottage & a beautiful location. There's a small balcony off the living room perfect for overlooking the estuary. Very well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. A lovely 10 min walk into Appledore & also across Northern Burrows Country Park to the beach, 5 miles round trip with coffee stop in the Beaver Inn. Visited Bude, Instow & SauntoRead moren Sands. We recommend Chinese from East of the Water in Bideford, Carvery at Country Cousins in Westward Ho & lunch at Instow Arms. Hide

Great house and location. Short walk away from Quay and a lovely park perfect for dog walking. The house really was a home from home and we wanted for nothing.
