Relax together at this sunny Braunton holiday home and bring your favourite, four-legged friend along for the fun too. Sleeping seven guests, the four-bedroom, dog-friendly retreat is well placed for anyone seeking a Devon stay close to the coast. Just 2.5 miles from the golden stretches of Saunton Sands, it is also on the fringes of the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Wander into the house to find ample space for you and your party. Amble through to the split-level, open-plan lounge/diner, where there is comfortable seating at a lower level and on to the garden. Settle down in front of the Smart TV, chat together or watch the children as they play out in the garden. Head through to the kitchen to prepare meals to enjoy at the table in the adjoining dining area, which is two steps up from the lounge. Also downstairs are a utility room, family shower room and double bedroom. A king-size bedroom, with an en-suite shower room and Smart TV, a twin room and a single are all upstairs, together with a family bathroom. Have breakfast, lunch and dinner in the garden during the summer, cooking on the BBQ whenever you choose. There is space in the garage for cycles and surfboards and parking on the driveway for one car.
Walk 4 miles along the cliffs and beach to the National Trust’s Baggy Point from the beach at Saunton Sands to enjoy spectacular coastal views. Plan days out to Putsborough Beach, 4 miles away, which is popular with surfers. Woolacombe Beach, a little further on, is also known for its consistent surf. Have a day out to Ilfracombe, 8.5 miles away, to wander the shops, dine out and spend time at the unusual Tunnels Beaches that are reached by passing through cliffs.
