This fully self-contained first-floor apartment sits above a delightful village pub and is the perfect base for couples or families to escape to the countryside. Unwind in comfort with your two canine chums and four guests and get readt to explore the South West Coast Path, highly rated attractions and, of course, sample a pub meal or two downstairs!

This apartment has been lovingly decorated with homely interiors and comforting touches to give you the best possible stay in the South West. After accessing the apartment via the external steps, take off your walking boots, hang up your coats, and settle down in the lounge/kitchen/diner with a freshly brewed cup of tea. Plant yourself into the cushy sofa and channel flick on the Smart TV until you find something to get you engrossed. The kitchen is fitted with all the modern conveniences needed to cater for your stay or you can get dressed up and head downstairs for a hearty meal at the pub. When blessed with sunny skies, find a place on the pub’s shared balcony and enjoy your post-dinner pint overlooking Devonshire greenery. Your party will be well served with the bedroom configurations: two pretty double bedrooms and one additional sofa bed should you need more sleeping space. After a great night’s sleep, freshen up in the family bathroom and prepare for another day of wonderful walks and tempting trails.

Head out on foot to discover the incredible landscapes of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Hartland Peninsula boasts miles of unrivalled cliff-top walks, hidden coves and glistening beaches, all within a short walk of the cottage. If little ones are looking for entertainment, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are within 12 miles of the home, along with the North Devon Wake and Aqua Park. Venture to the fabulous gardens at Docton Mill (3.5 miles) to enjoy a cream tea or stroll around the roses, or visit the seaside town of Bude (16.5 miles) to dip in its semi-natural sea pool.

Great to have self catering accommodation that welcomes dogs in a friendly pub. Easy for visiting coast. Lovely short stay.
