Savour your proximity to the picturesque, golden sands of Westward Ho! when you stay at this stylish, Devon retreat. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom haven is less than 0.5 miles from the beach. Welcoming four-legged guests too, it comes with an enclosed garden for outdoor relaxation and a games room, where you can play table tennis and darts.

Enter this immaculate retreat to discover a light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner at its heart. Open the French doors to the garden in the summer months or gather on the comfortable seating in the autumn and winter to find movies on the Smart TV. The kitchen features a breakfast bar, where you can perch with a cup of fresh coffee, and is well-equipped to help you prepare delicious dishes to serve up at the table. The games room and the utility room, which has access to a WC, adjoin the main living space. Make your way up to the first floor to find a gorgeous seating space where you can relax with a cup of tea and enjoy the views or open the glass door to unwind on the balcony. The bedrooms are also at this level. These include two king-size, both with Smart TVs and one with an en-suite shower room and access to a balcony, and a twin room with a Smart TV and zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as a super-king-size if discussed at booking. There is also a family bathroom. While away sunny days out in the enclosed garden, grilling supper on the BBQ and dining out in the sea air.

Stroll or drive 2 miles to pretty Appledore to amble through its streets and ponder in its shops and galleries. Take the ferry from here over to Instow for an afternoon on the beach in the summer season.

The property is absolutely amazing, everything that you could wish for and only a 10 minute flat walk to the wonderful beach. A bit of trouble finding it even with the additional postcode given as the road is not marked, the small NG on the sign on the corner of the road is difficult to see when you are driving but when we found it WOW! Table tenniRead mores was fabulous! We loved our time at Dune Beachhouse and can't wait to return. Tastefully decorated and lots of homley touches, spotless on arrival. Hide
