Truly family friendly, this bright two-bed chalet is located on a holiday park. It’s perfectly laid out for a small family or even one or two couples keen to discover this beautiful part of South Devon. Decorated and kitted out to a high standard, it’s got everything you could possibly want to make your holiday as easy and relaxing as possible. Head into Dartmouth (2.5 miles) using the bus from outside the site if you don’t want any driving hassle. Or just get out on foot or by car to explore the beaches, coastline and inland countryside of the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Enter straight into the light and airy lounge/diner at this fun chalet, with its contemporary accommodation all on one level. At the back, the dining area has a table seating four in comfort, with modern, Scandi-style furniture and pops of colour making the lounge a really inviting space. Around the corner is the sleek, galley-style kitchen, equipped for prepping everything from picnics to holiday feasts. There’s one double and one twin bedroom, both with calming decor for a great night’s sleep. Outside, sit and watch the world go by from the shared grassy garden.
Once you've explored all that Dartmouth has to offer, head for the coast. The long expanse of golden shingle at Blackpool Sands (3 miles) is good for bracing walks or you can feel adventurous reaching the tiny beach of Compass Cove (3.5 miles) that’s sheltered amid rocky cliffs. The impressive Dartmouth Castle (4 miles) has overlooked and guarded the Dart Estuary for centuries. Or opt for the Tudor Bayard’s Cove Fort (3 miles). Both reinforce the erstwhile strategic importance of this estuary. For sightseeing with a difference, catch the chain ferry (by car or on foot) from Dartmouth to the village of Kingswear.
