This secluded bolthole is a wonderful base for couples or solo travellers seeking a retreat into nature on the East Coast of Devon. Admire rugged Jurassic cliff formations and golden crescents of sand on a clifftop hike along the coastal path from Lyme Regis (10 miles), before settling in for a sizzling al fresco feast on the raised terrace with an unbeatable backdrop.

This elegant lodge boasts a perfectly proportioned interior designed to fully maximise its compact space. Enjoy bright neutral tones, well-lived leather textures, wall panelling, and sophisticated furnishings. Step up to the deck and ease out of muddy hiking boots before padding into the relaxing studio space with opulent underfloor heating. Rustle up a post-adventure snack board with farm-fresh ingredients in the sleek kitchenette and select a chilled bottle of wine. Throw open the decking doors then perch at the round table to feast overlooking rolling emerald hills. As the evening draws in, snuggle up on the soft leather sofa or grab a blanket and stargaze beneath the twinkling night sky. Indulge in a refreshing rinse in the shower room before sliding into the crisp sheets of the double bed. Delightful location, clean, comfortable and quiet. The owners were friendly and helpful. We will probably stay there again.

Very cute little pod in quiet rural location. Perfect for a 4 night break. Has all the equipment including gas BBQ for making a simple meal.
