Unwind in this three-bedroom country cottage which overlooks a wooded valley and is surrounded by nature while also being a short drive away from the Devonshire coast. Spend quality time with your loved ones, including one canine companion, in the bright and homely open-plan living area with panoramic rural views. Or dine alfresco with a bottle of bubbly in the garden with a BBQ.

On the ground floor of the property is a comfortable lounge/diner with neutral tones and a hint of a bohemian feel with two plump sofas, a TV with an Amazon stick plus a wooden dining table with chairs. Continue into the homely kitchen with a fitted ‘L’-shaped unit and a breakfast table. Also on this floor is a cloakroom with a WC. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus three bedrooms – a double with an en-suite, a single and another double. Outside you’ll find a private patio with seating, a parasol and a BBQ.

During your stay down a country lane near Olchard, the town of Kingsteignton is just X miles away and is the perfect place to visit for dining out and picking up essentials. Take your swimsuits to Dawlish Warren (11.5 miles) for a dip in the sea with Fido in the designated dog-friendly areas. The picturesque seaside town of Teignmouth, which is filled with historic Georgian buildings, is 9 miles away. If you’re a keen hiker, head to Haytor (10 miles) for panoramic views of Dartmoor. Quaint villages like Buckfastleigh and Holne are also both within easy reach (15 miles). Close to Red Rock Brewery, Ugbrook House, The Royal Oak Pub in Ideford and the Elizabethan Inn at Luton. Also good for dog walking on the Haldon Hills.

We have enjoyed a wonderful week here. The cottage is lovely and very well equipped. Its lovely to look out over fields. Thank you for the milk and welcome gifts, we hope to be back again sometime.

The Cottage had everything possible you required and was very spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very friendly but not obtrusive and provided a very well received welcome pack. The cottage provided an ideal location for exploring Devon with good public houses close by. Thoroughly recommended

The property was lovely. It was light, airy tastefully decorated and well looked after and also has a lovely outside dining area. It was a lovely cottage with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. Sue the cottage owner was lovely too and a pleasure to meet.She was so welcoming from the start and we left with homegrown veg from her garden. Amazing cottage, fab location, beautiful home and super well equipped - thought of everything!
