Nestled in the Lyd valley just outside Lifton, on the border of Devon and Cornwall, this home offers a wonderful blend of countryside trails and picturesque sites for all to enjoy. Less than 15 mins drive away are the following attractions: Lifton Strawberry Fields Farm Shop, Homeleigh Garden Centre, Alder vineyard, offer vineyard tour with wine tasting. Roadford Lake Activity Centre, where you can get your adrenaline fix in various water and land sports or Tree Surfers, Gulworthy (11 miles). This wonderful position also allows you to easily explore the stunning scenery of the Lyd valley just a short steep walk to the river Lyd, with an abundance of wildlife, ideal for bird watchers and photographers. Close by the dramatic landscapes of Bodmin Moor, Tamar Valley, and Dartmoor National Park where you are sure to find a further array of wildlife. Walkers and cyclists can take advantage of the two castles trail or the granite way. For ocean enthusiasts, you are never too far from those golden sands and turquoise waters we all crave time to time, and these will certainly be found at the coastal hotspots of Bude, perfect for surfing (23 miles) and Widemouth Bay (20 miles). Horse riding at St. Leonard’s riding stables (4.5 miles) or Chowell riding school, (10 miles). Or you can enjoy the peace and quiet whilst sitting in the garden listening to the water fountain, watching butterflies and enjoy your favourite tipple.

Stepping into this cosy yet stylishly furnished home you will soon notice the blend of original and contemporary features on offer to you, including beautiful exposed beams throughout. Upon entering guests have an opening porch space which is ideal to kick off those walking boots and sandy shoes after a day of exploring, whilst the space also doubles up to fit the dining table, easily manoeuvrable outside for those al-fresco breakfasts. Making your way up the stairway, you will find yourself in the bedroom which is well fitted with a double bed and plenty of clothing space.

Heading outside you will find a private spacious formal ornamental rose garden for guests own use. You can enjoy a chef’s feast on the charcoal BBQ, or simply relax with your favourite tipple whilst sharing those best moments of the holiday. Private off-road parking is supplied.
