Located in the heart of mid-Devon there are miles of walks to be enjoyed, including the 2 Moors Way, which meanders through a rural landscape teeming with wildlife. There are an array of market towns and pretty villages to explore in the area including South Molton, Tiverton, Crediton and slightly further afield Exeter. Enjoy days out in the National Parks of Dartmoor and Exmoor perfect for those wishing to walk or cycle this awe-inspiring landscape, with river swimming, stunning vista's, ancient towns and plenty of outdoor pursuits for the adventurous. Head to the coast to discover the string of sandy beaches on Devon’s north coast, including Saunton, Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho! together with a collection of traditional fishing villages. The Jurassic Coastline is also within reach and offers the beautiful beaches and seaside towns of Lyme Regis, Branscombe and Sidmouth. 

Stepping into this spacious farmhouse, you will soon feel at home with the loving blend of original and contemporary features on show. Cob walls and ancient beams compliment this lovely Grade 2 listed longhouse, which dates back to the 17th Century. Step into the generous boot room, a perfect space to kick off your shoes, hang your coats and rest the dogs. A washing machine and tumble dryer are housed in the boot room and you'll find a separate WC here and a scullery maids staircase winding up to the first floor. Adjoining the boot room is the well-appointed kitchen with far reaching countryside views. You will find everything you might need to cook and entertain with a Range Cooker with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, large fridge and dishwasher. The long kitchen table seats 10 where you can enjoy breakfast or a coffee and plan your day ahead. Heading on through the passage, you will find the formal dining room with seating for all guests, perfect for celebrations and special meals. On entering the light and airy lounge you’ll find plenty of comfortable sofas, a smart TV and even the added luxury of a warming wood burner, in an original ingle nook fireplace, allowing you to indulge in the crackle of logs on those chillier nights. Next to the lounge, is a pretty bedroom with a zip n link bed. Heading up the cottage style steep stairs, you'll find the other three bedrooms all with super-king-size zip-and-link beds, which can be made up as twins and a double bedroom. Completing the upstairs there is one family bathroom with a bath and shower and WC and an en-suite shower room with a WC to one of the bedrooms.

After a day of adventures across the Devon countryside and coast, retreat to relax in your own large private hot tub, providing the perfect outlook over the rolling fields surrounding the home. There is also an open lawn space with outdoor seating provided, a football goal, badminton nets and even a basket ball hoop will provide entertainment for all. Table tennis can be found in the old pig shed for some family competitions. A brick built BBQ is well placed next to the hot tub and patio, ready for an alfresco supper and relax into the evening to watch the Devon sunset.
