This magnificent holiday home is in the heart of the picturesque Exe Valley, 11 miles from Exeter. The former pub sleeps up to 24 guests across 12 bedrooms, and boasts a vast entertaining space with a bar, a sound system and disco lights, as well as cosy reception rooms, three kitchens and a huge dining hall. It’s the perfect one-stop-shop for a memorable get-together with friends and family. From the property, it’s easy to enjoy days out to the national parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor and the Jurassic Coast (all within 20 miles).

The 16th-century former pub has been transformed into a luxurious holiday home, oozing with elegance and grandeur. Stunning original features are complemented by antique-style furniture and opulent fixtures and fittings, to create a truly unique backdrop to your holiday. Enter the property into a vast entertaining space, boasting a working bar, a PA sound system, disco lights and a dance floor – the perfect space for enjoying memorable evenings with family and friends. Just off this room is a cosy cinema room, with a Smart TV, a popcorn machine and authentic cinema chairs. There’s also a handy kitchenette for preparing snacks and party food, and a games room with snooker, table tennis and air hockey. Spiral stairs lead from the entertaining space to two of the bedrooms, and along the ground-floor corridor is another bedroom with an en-suite wet room. From the games room, a spiral staircase leads to a further two bedrooms which share a Jack and Jill shower room. Also on the ground floor, you’ll find an impressive dining room with characterful exposed beams and a banquet-style dining table for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. After dinner, retire to the inviting lounge to relax on the Chesterfield sofas in the glow of the cosy wood burner. There’s also a smaller, snug-style lounge on this floor, again with a wood burner. Stairs lead from the lounge to three more gorgeous bedrooms, two of which have free-standing, roll-top baths in the room. Two of the bedrooms also have en-suite shower rooms, one of which is available for use by the third bedroom via a Jack and Jill-style entrance. Back down to the ground floor, you’ll find a family bathroom with a free-standing bath, which is used by two bedrooms on the first floor. The property has three kitchens, making catering for a large group a breeze. The two remaining bedrooms are upstairs, both with free-standing, roll-top baths in the room and en-suite shower rooms. The property has extensive grounds, including large lawns for playing outdoor games and a choice of seating areas for outdoor entertaining, as well as a BBQ and a pizza oven for all your al fresco dining needs.
