Nestled in the tranquil outskirts of Winkleigh, this enchanting home awaits, promising a quintessential countryside escape. Surrounded by lush greenery and breathtaking vistas, this idyllic retreat offers a serene haven for those seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. Explore the charming village of Winkleigh with its quaint pubs and traditional tea rooms, where you can indulge in delicious homemade treats and mingle with friendly locals. For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby Dartmoor National Park (10 miles) beckons with its rugged landscapes and scenic hiking trails, perfect for feeling that crackle and pop of twigs underfoot, whilst you are also never too far from the sun-kissed beaches and turquoise waters along the North Devon coast including hot spots such as Westward Ho!, Saunton Sands and Woolacombe, all providing golden sands and fine local eateries within 30 miles. Finally, don’t forget to day trip to the cathedral city of Exeter (22 miles), hosting a wide choice of shops for that retail therapy.

With its traditional styling, wooden beams and doors, this spacious Devon longhouse charms with its history and character, providing a wonderful stay for friends and family. Stepping into the home will bring you immediately into the first of 3 entertainment areas, being the main lounge. This lounge hosts ample comfortable seating along with a warming wood burner and Smart TV, a perfect combination for that movie night in with a bag of popcorn. The snug room next door functions well in addition to the main lounge with a further Smart TV, wood burner and even a games console. This room is ideal for those looking to get their game on with a board game, or simply relax with a book and cuppa in a chilled evening. Heading into the conservatory is where guests will truly be able to seek their competitive edge though, here you’ll find a pool table and accompanying dart board. All three spaces come together wonderfully to provide something for everyone. Heading back through the home, the kitchen provides everything you will need for a relaxing and stress-free stay, whilst the breakfast table sits all guests with ease. Muddy countryside walks and sandy beach days mean wetsuits, welly boots and raincoats so at the rear entrance you’ll find an additional utility room complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as space for coats and boots. The home also features a separate dining room with log burner allowing you to sit back and enjoy those laid back meals together with friends and family. Completing the lower floor is the downstairs bathroom, with bath, separate shower and WC. When the night draws in you can head upstairs via the central stairway, or directly from the bathroom. This will take you up to all five bedrooms on the upper floor, in addition to a further family bathroom with bath and WC. The bedrooms consist of two super-king zip and link beds, in addition to three double bedrooms, all of which being incredibly spacious and offering plenty of storage spaces.

Heading outside guests are treated to private grounds surrounding the home, complete with a beautiful garden accompanied with outdoor seating, this acts as a truly wonderful spot to enjoy a Devon sunset.
