Appledore has an abundance of unspoilt charm, its many fishermen's cottages tucked away in a maze of narrow cobbled pathways, and Corner Cottage, as you may expect, nestles in the corner between two similar cottages.  Being in 'reverse style,' to take full advantage of the fabulous views, stairs lead to the cosy open plan first floor living room with the modern kitchen area to one end and comfortable seating area at the other. There is a bay window with French doors which when fully open create a balcony area inside the living roomwhere you may sit and enjoy the panoramic views over the estuary. There are two bedrooms and a small bathroom on the ground floor; the double bedroom enjoys estuary views and the smaller bunk bedded room has 3ft bunks. The bottom bunk may suit one adult. The top bunk is very high - not suitable for smaller children or adults. The pretty quayside with shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants is just a short stroll away. Corner Cottage is ideally suited for couples or young families seeking a good base from which to explore this beautiful area.

Accommodation: Ground floor: Hall. Bedroom 1 with Double. Bedroom 2 with 3ft bunks. First floor: Open plan living/kitchen/dining room with TV(incorporating freeview and a DVD/CD player). Kitchen area with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Thanks for the wine and milk...really appreciated as was the note about the hot water.

Mrs Annie Taylor,

The cottage was lovely with beautiful views of the estuary. The keys were very easy to pick up and we loved the whole area.

Ms Beth Reynaert,

This is our second visit to this cottage now and our third to appledore, we absolutely love the place the best view you could wish and we will almost certainly be going again this year. If I could make any suggestion it would be to possibly get a new tv or remote as I think it is on its way out.

Mr Richard Heath,

A really lovely property with amazing views. The property has everything you could need for stay in central Appledore.

Ms Lorraine Hunt,

Beautiful view, great location and very clean

Naomi Kealey,

The unspoilt waterside location and the panoramic view from the lounge bay window over the beach & estuary really makes this property for us and and we'd happily come back another time. We really enjoyed watching the ebb & flow of the tides, changing light, birdlife and passing boat traffic, Besides that, the furniture & kitchen equipment was excellent and very well laid out, all easily accessible. We found Appledore refreshingly natural and uncommercialised, characterful with its narrow streets and pretty cottages. If the weather had been warmer (it was winter!) we'd also have enjoyed cycling and watersports (windsurfing, canoeing, swimming).

Mrs Catherine Boyce,
