On a former working dairy farm in the heart of the Devon countryside, The Granary is a lovingly restored stone barn conversion completed to a high standard in 2014.  We think guests will find the accommodation full of character, well equipped and with the added bonus of an outdoor jacuzzi hot tub in the walled garden. From the Granary and just under 1.5 miles away down the quiet farm lane, brings you to the village Inn in Muddiford, offering both bar and restaurant facilities to hungry and thirsty guests. There are a number of activities such as horse riding, shooting and fishing on offer in the local area for those wishing to add to countryside rambles or days on the beach. The impressive vaulted ceiling and exposed oak beams combine with a mixture of slate and oak flooring to provide a delightful living space. The well-equipped country cream kitchen area complete with butler sink is next to the Juliette balcony which overlooks the sheltered enclosed garden, with countryside views beyond.  If you are not outside barbecuing, why not plan your next day's activities over an evening meal at the oak dining table or relax in the comfy reclining leather seats.  A solid wooden staircase leads down to the attractively presented bedrooms, located at each end of the barn, both with ensuite facilities. On this lower level, three sets of stunning doors all open out onto the patio and a good size lawn sits within the sheltered walls. The outdoor jacuzzi hot tub is sure to prove a favourite throughout the year. Not too far from the edge of Exmoor National Park and yet within driving distance of the golden surf beaches and rugged coastline of North Devon, the Granary provides a superb rural holiday base for couples, friends and family. Please note the farm is home to a fine collection of vintage tractors which the owners father will be happy to show any enthusiasts (on request), also that the neighbouring farm is a working farm and also that from time to time the adjacent yard is used for loading/unloading.

Lower ground floor: Bedroom 1 with King,TV zip 'n' link option to Twin on request, TV and ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, WC and basin. Bedroom 2 with Twin, TV zip 'n' link option to Superking on request ,TV with ensuite shower room with basin and WC.
