Description

A cosy harbourside bolthole overlooking the water in Brixham, a vibrant fishing town.

Jasmine Cottage is stunning - a truly relaxing romantic retreat, beautifully furnished throughout: the stylish open plan kitchen dining area has French doors onto the front and rear courtyards. The bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor and living room on the second floor - making the most of the fabulous harbour views from the balcony.

Brixham had some good shops, cafes and restaurants, one of the most popular spots on the South Devon coast. Nearby Torquay was a favourite hot spot of the Victorian era with grand regency crescents lined with townhouses. Today, Torquay has a vibrant waterfront with its marina and harbour… stroll along the palm-lined promenade and visit the seafront gardens.

The model village at Babbacombe is a great day out for all the family and Paignton Zoo is well regarded for its wildlife conservation efforts with an impressive collection including a Komodo Dragon! Further afield, head inland and explore the Dartmoor National Park with its tors and myriad of walking trails. So whether you’re looking for a relaxing break or a family holiday with children to entertain, there’s something for everyone!

Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom.

Reviews

Jasmine Cottage is a lovely holiday home in an excellent location.

Mr David R,

Had a lovely 5 day stay here at Jasmine Cottage! The balconies in the sun has been gorgeous. Highly recommend curious kitchen for the most delicious & beautiful breakfast dishes. The best fish & chips we found were at the Rockfish. We hope to be back next year. Thank you!!

Past Customer,

Absolutely lovely place, so many nice touches that made our story truly amazing. We'll be back!

Past Customer,

A cosy cottage, with everything that's needed for two! We thoroughly enjoyed the views from the balconies and easy access to Brixham. Highly recommend "Beamers" with a chef who knows how to cook fish and very friendly staff. A visit to the Coleton Fishacre if you like gardens (not to mention Art Deco houses) is a must. You can access the coast path and have a wonderful day's walking.

Past Customer,

We've had a wonderful week in your delightful cottage. Our first stay in Brixham. We enjoyed the Rockfish Cafe, walking coastal path is so interesting. Thank you very much!

Anna and I,

A lovely hideaway in the middle of everything . a Fantastic week . Thank you very much.

Mrs annette b,

Fantastic property, great location and everything of good standard. A bit of a hitch as regards the arrival of the parking permit, but efficiently solved by the office when I called. All in all - great.

Mr Patrick S,

Just what the Doctor ordered! A lovely, quiet, relaxing break...and the added bonus of fantastic weather. Enjoyed the coastal walk to Paignton, made a bit demanding by going off piste onto the woodland walk for about 5 miles...by mistake! Great cottage and really enjoyed Brixham. Particularly dinner at the Shoal Cafe by Shoalstone Pool as the sun set was terrific. We'd better come back then!

Patrick and V,

We have been staying at Jasmine Cottage in Brixham for over ten years now, and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The cottage is clean and cosy and well equipped, and one of the best holiday cottages we have visited. It has great views over the harbour and marina, and is superbly located in a central position near the harbour, with all the shops, pubs and restaurants within a very short walking distance. Both long and short stay car parks are located close by. We very much look forward to our trips to Brixham and would not consider staying anywhere else. We have no hesitation in recommending it.

Jasmine Cottage We have found a little Jem of a holiday cottage. My wife and I stayed there in September 2017 and absolutely loved it, very clean and welcoming it's a home from home the views of Brixham harbour from the cottage are a delight. Great location for exploring what Devon has to offer. Really good restaurants and bars close by. We can't wait to return staying for two weeks this summer .
